UPDATES (March 30, 2009)

It's Spring and that means leagues are forming to help keep your skills sharp and enjoy fitness through sports. Flag football is underway and opened on Sunday March 29th, playing on our double field. Over 30 soccer is set to open a new league on Tuesday March 31st, also playing on our double fields. Final registrations for flag football will be accepted until April 14th and Over 30 soccer until April 5th. Field Hockey for all age groups is set to open mid May. Older age groups will be playing 8 v 8 on our double fields with younger age groups playing 7 v 7 on our single fields. Skate park construction is underway with an anticipated opening date of mid April. Skate park hours will be 4 pm to 10 pm (7) days a week. Join us at the DOME for some Spring and Summer fun.

Today, the sale of the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome was legally finalized to a 100% family owned business. The sale provides for all Dome activities to continue at our present centrally located site. We thank our investors who have supported us for the last 10 years and brought us to this very special day. Today's sales agreement will secure all activities at the Dome for years to come. Our successful leagues, tournaments, and other activities of the past will continue as we now begin to plan for the future and expand in new directions. Have any ideas or interests? Let us know. Our vision can be your vision too! We look forward to continuing our relationships with the many individuals and families who have come to know the Dome as home for all their recreational needs. The WVSD will be accepting final registrations at the dome on Thursday evening Oct 9th from 6:00 pm to 9:00pm. Teams with their app. and downpayment in can call the Dome to schedule a free practice session for Thursday night. The league games will be played on Saturday's starting November 8, 2008.

The fitness center is now open. Fitness passes can be purchased for 1 day, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. Customers with current fitness pass may use the grass field when not occupied (call ahead). Skate Park News (Opening April 13, 2009)

All Skate Park Members will need to fill out a new waiver after July 1, 2008, due to new ownership, and all old waivers not being transferable. The waivers must be signed by the legal guardian in front of Dome staff or a notorized copy of our waiver brought in before being allowed to use the park. The skate park will be opening Monday April 13, 2009. Check our skate park layout for ramps which are completed The park will close in mid October 2009.

Wyoming Valley Soccer Club

The Wyoming Valley Soccer Club continues to train and play in premier leagues and tournaments. The club presently is training indoor at the Dome.
