Nitro is a youth soccer club and elite academy that has an affiliation/partnership with the Philadelphia Union of the MLS. Our club focuses on the education and overall development of soccer players U5 - U19 by utilizing a proven curriculum, strategic partnerships, professional coaches, development camps/clinics, team training sessions, and competitive match play.
Our Nitro Youth Development Academy is a full-service soccer program that is open to all players U5-U12. All players can expect professional, high quality coaching in a fun and positive environment that provides a challenging and rewarding experience for all players involved. Our Academy’s proven development curriculum utilizes weekly training sessions with our professional coaches, monthly training and seasonal skill building clinics with Philadelphia Union coaching staff (at our training facilities), Elite development camps, and competitive match play through appropriate placement in development leagues. Furthermore, all Nitro Academy players will graduate to our Elite and Blast teams for the next level in their development and growth.
Nitro Elite and Blast teams (U13-U19) participate in multiple levels of play with teams placed in leagues that compete locally, regionally, and/or nationally. Through our partnerships with the Philadelphia Union, Athletic Republic, and Wyoming Valley Sports Dome, our players are provided with all the resources needed to be successful at every level in the game. Our Elite/Blast development curriculum provides 2-3 training sessions per week, membership into the top competitive leagues for match play, and participation in several showcase events. Due to our proven ability to compete at some of the highest levels, our Elite teams receive acceptance into the top showcase events in the nation where hundreds of college coaches and scouts attend every year.

Girls Softball
USSSA Girls Fastpitch softball tournaments which will be held every weekend, Saturday and Sunday, January and February and continuing through the 1st week of March. A reminder because of the snow cover, High School Girls Softball teams can organize their own exhibitions or scrimmages on March 20th or March 27th. They bring in a group of 4 teams and we schedule a block of 3 hours where teams play for 1 1/2 hours then 2 teams switch fields and you play a different team for the remaining time of the 3 hour block. Cantolao Attack FC use WVSD as year round training base
Moving forward, soccer enthusiasts will not miss a beat as Cantolao Attack FC is having open tryouts Nov , 2021 at The Dome. For more info check out their web site at www.necapa.com. Cantolao Attack FC will collaborate with Wyoming Valley Sports Dome to offer indoor and outdoor soccer training and league play. In addition to indoor play, our recently completed full sized outdoor field (70 yds x 130 yds) will add many opportunities for youth who desire the year round experience which can raise their soccer skills/opportunities to the next level.
Youth ages 4 through 18 will be served by Cantolao Attack FC as we welcome the club to the many activities at the Dome this September. All activities through NE Cantolao Attack FC will be organized/overseen by a full board, registrar, and Soccer Director Hubert Herrera. Each team will also have a head coach, asst coach, and team manager. League Applications Now being Accepted...
WVSD is now accepting apps for our Soccer, Field Hockey Leagues. First games for the January session will start January 16, 2023 and run until Late March. We will be running odd age groups for the 2nd season starting with U-7's. Please go to your sports application page for complete details and prices.

Teams...6 teams max per age group, 3 games guaranteed, 1 hour 20 minute drop dead time limit other than the championship.
Cost...$795.00 a team, each team must provide their insurance.Banner and medals for each winner.

Girls Fastpitch Softball...We are happy to be entering our 8th season of USSSA Girls Softball Tournaments. USSSA will be taking apps for 10/12/14/16/18-U teams. In January/February/March Girls Softball (all ages) Apps can be downloaded off the USSSA web site along with dates played and fees. Any questions you can go to the USSSA web site and email or call the regional director Jeff Kittle. You can also email the Dome and we will answer any questions and forward the emails on to the USSSA.
Boys Youth Baseball is playing on Saturdays which started November 6th. If any 11U or 12U teams wish to get games, we can get you a double header against teams already playing. Time slot would be 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. You would play 2 different teams in that time slot. The cost would be $350.00 per team and you pay the ump $15 per game at the field.
